Our research and experience suggests that multinational companies pay too little attention to the CEE region when scouting the globe for innovations upon which they can build to develop new products and services. This is too bad because the CEE region has developed into a strong innovation ecosystem over the last years. In this article, we present a selection of startups from Estonia, Poland, Romania and other CEE countries. We also describe elements of the CEE innovation ecosystem and recommend multinational companies to pay a closer look at that region.
