Building Campus WU was very much like constructing a whole new city quarter from scratch. When Campus WU opened its doors ten years ago, this was a sensational event in Vienna. Today, the campus is an attractive destination for international students, a must-see for architecture lovers, and the cornerstone of an entire urban development area. We will be starting this event by highlighting some of the people who were involved in this major urban development project, from its conception and the planning stage to the construction work and implementation. After that, a panel discussion will look at how sustainable good architecture is. A get-together with networking opportunities will round off the evening.
