The Teacher's Lounge is a room in the Teaching Center (TC) that is available to all WU faculty (including external lecturers) for relaxation between classes or for preparing and following up on courses. It is equipped with desks (including workstations with docking stations, monitors, mice, and keyboards), a kitchenette, seating and dining areas, a whiteboard, and a printer. The Academic Staff Council is responsible for the room and supplies the kitchenette with coffee and tea, ensures there is sufficient printer paper, and takes care of repairs. We also keep information material, such as the University Collective Bargaining Agreement, and writing utensils (notepads, pens, sticky notes, tape, hole punches, staplers, etc.) here. If anything is missing or you have suggestions for improvements to the equipment, please contact wiss.betriebsrat@wu.ac.at. We will endeavor to replenish supplies, arrange for any repairs, or clarify the options for further equipment as soon as possible.

The Teacher's Lounge is located on the first floor of the Teaching Center (room 1.04; see https://campus.wu.ac.at). The room is only accessible via the side staircase (see for detailed directions).

We would also like to remind you that this room can be booked exclusively for conferences, events, etc. during non-teaching periods. Please also send these requests directly to wiss.betriebsrat@wu.ac.at.

We hope that the Teacher's Lounge will be a place of relaxation between classes and may also serve as a place for networking and getting to know each other.
