Bangkok Summer School on International Business and Sustainable Development
The Bangkok Summer School on International Business and Sustainable Development is a three-week program organized in cooperation with the College of Management - Mahidol University (CMMU), which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand.
As of today, the Bangkok Summer School is planned to take place on campus in Bangkok. Please be assured that the program will be held in accordance to the public health requirements implemented by local authorities.
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Duration: 3 weeks
Program dates: August 29 - September 16, 2022
Scheduled travel dates: Latest arrival in Bangkok on August 28. Earliest departure after the official program closing.
Participants: Advanced bachelor‘s students from WU (max. 20) + about 10 students from CMMU.
Credits: Students will receive 8 ECTS credits and a grade certificate for successful program completion. The earned ECTS credits can be confirmed as (part of) the IBW International Experience and/or can be transferred towards your curriculum.
For the Bangkok Summer School the International Office is looking for one of the participating student to act as a “student assistant”. The student assistant will support the IO and the partner university with certain tasks on-site (such as the coordination of the intercultural evening) and will be a point of contact for the students, the partner university and the IO. In return, the program fee will be waived for the student assistant.

Please note that you can only be considered for student assistant if you are also selected to participate in the Summer School.

Credit Transfer Options
After successful completion of the program you will have earned 8 ECTS credits. Obtained credits can be transferred to your WU curriculum and/or can be confirmed as (part of) the IBW International Experience.

This fee does not include: flights and transfers, visa fees, vaccinations (if needed), additional meals on lecture and non-lecture days and additional expenses on site

If students cancel their participation until April 22, 2022, the International Office reserves the right to withhold a processing fee of € 200.
If students cancel their participation after April 22, 2022 the International Office will not refund any portion of the program fee.
