This week we had the pleasure of welcoming the 12th cohort of the MSc Marketing! Our students embarked on an exhilarating three-day kick-off, marking the beginning of an exciting journey ahead. A whirlwind of learning, community building, networking and inspiration for our newest batch of marketing enthusiasts is what made our kick-off so special.

The kick-off started with an introduction to the most important aspects of the program, followed by a meet & greet with our esteemed faculty members and representatives of the student club WUMA. We also hosted inspiring info sessions. Together with WU's International Office we presented the various opportunities to study abroad and gain international experience during the Master program, while WU ZBP Career Center introduced our students to their career prospects upon graduation and the services they offer in assisting them to succeed on the job market in Austria.

During the kick-off our first-year students had the opportunity to put their marketing expertise to the test in real-world case studies by Accenture Song and Procter & Gamble. They even participated in the selection process of the winner of the prestigious Best Master Thesis Award by marketmind. We want to express our deepest gratitude to our industry partners for their exceptional contribution to our kick-off and for showing our newest students how to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

But that's not all. In the MSc Marketing we believe that building connections is a crucial part of one's academic journey. So to foster a good group spirit among the students, we organized a speed-friending event and a scavenger hunt on campus. Our new students had a blast getting to know each other and work as a team through a series of fun and fast-paced interactions.

Lastly, a big shout-out to our colleagues Daria Yudaeva, Işın Acun, Malik Stromberg and Marie Louise Brand whose invaluable contributions were instrumental in making this kick-off event a success.

We can't wait to see all the incredible things our new cohort will achieve during their time in the Master program!
