Melanie Hetzer wins Austrian Tourism Research Award
We would like to congratulate MSc Marketing student Melanie Hetzer for winning the Austrian tourism research award “Tourissimus” in the category Cities & Destinations.
Every year, ÖGAF (Austrian association for applied research in the tourism and leisure industry) awards the tourism research award "Tourissimus" to honor the best bachelor and master theses focusing on tourism in the categories Cities & Destinations, Sustainability and Tourism Economy. Despite tough competition, Ms. Hetzer managed to convince the top-level jury with her highly relevant Master thesis “Tourism as a Victim of Terrorism” supervised by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Schreier and Mag.rer.nat. PhD. Silke Hieke. Congratulations!
