For the eigth time, the marketmind Best Thesis Award was given to the best theses of the WU Marketing master's program. Sponsored by the Austrian company marketmind, the award honors the efforts taken by Marketing Master students to develop state-of-the-art insights and innovations in the field of marketing. As part of the kick-off event the new cohort voted for the best master thesis presented by nominated students.

This year's winner is Jonas Fink with his thesis on a retailing topic “The Effects of Visual Boundaries on Behavior”. The runner-ups were Andrea Steindorfer with “A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing? Native Advertising And Ad Disclosure In High-Quality Journalism And Its Effects On The Evaluation Of The Publisher” and Sophie Buchta with “Optimal service configuration for digital newspaper providers: consumer preferences and willingness to pay for informational privacy”.
 

The winner received 1.000 € and the two runner-ups 400 € each. Congratulations to our winners and would like to express our special thanks to marketmind for again supporting our MSc Marketing program so generously!
