Terms and Conditions of Participation

  • To enroll in the Teaching Skills Certificate Basic program, you must have a valid employment contract with WU for the entire duration of the program.

  • Participation in the Teaching Skills Certificate Basic program is free of charge.

  • By registering, you commit to full participation (80% attendance) in all modules. Therefore, it is important that you note all program dates and keep those times free in your calendar.

  • If, for valid reasons, you are unable to attend one of the modules for which you have registered, please notify us in a timely manner via email. Please let us know on which of the other dates you would like to make up the missed module so that we can re-register you.

  • To ensure that you gain as much experience as possible from the workshops—in addition to the content—please actively participate and engage in discussions.

  • The program is offered university-wide, so you’ll be participating alongside colleagues from various departments. Take advantage of this opportunity to exchange professional ideas, network, and support one another in developing your teaching concepts.
