Kickoff: Retail & Marketing Specialization
Finally, back on campus, our kickoff session for this year’s specialization could take place with all safety measures in the “Audimax”. This allowed us to personally get in touch with our students and get some first insights into their expectations regarding the SBWL. We could also present the newest additions and changes to the curriculum. In the future, next to the “Retail Marketing Management” track, we will offer a “Retail Marketing Analytics” track that tackles relevant retail problems with the help of data analytics. This new track provides an answer to the growing importance of data science in marketing and the students’ interest in “real-life” business problems. To end the successful kickoff, the students could show their creative skills by solving a wicked marketing challenge. Furthermore, the three best students of the entry exam were rewarded with free tickets to the “REGAL Branchentreff”.
