This information refers to the application and admission procedure for international students. WU students interested in participating in the ISUWU are asked to refer to following website.

Nomination deadline (for partner universities): March 15, 2024

Application Requirements

The International Summer UniversityWU is open to undergraduate and graduate students from WU partner universities*. WU students can also participate in the ISUWU and can find more information here.

*Participation is also open to non-partner university students if sufficient spots are available.

Please note that all participants of the International Summer UniversityWU must comply with our Guidelines and Data Protection.

Application procedure

All students coming from a WU partner university can be officially nominated for all program offers by their home university by March 15.

Please note that the nomination decisions are made and undertaken by each WU partner university´s responsible coordinators. To receive the nomination form, responsible coordinators are asked to contact the program manager (isuwu@wu.ac.at).

Students (from partner and non-partner universities) can also apply for the ISUWU directly during the application period without being nominated.

All students (nominated and non-nominated) need to complete the ISUWU online applicaiton during the application period (see below).

Application documents

In order for the application to be successful, applicants must upload all necessary application documents, demonstrate excellent command of the language of instruction (English), and meet all the requirements specified in the course description. All documents that are not issued in English or German must be provided together with an adequate translation into English or German. We advise to gather all supporting documents before starting the online application process. Only files less than approximately 2MB are allowed to be uploaded. (Allowed filetypes: jpeg, jpg, png, bmp, gif, doc, docx, pdf)
