Stefan Giljum held workshop at the Austrian Youth Climate Conference 2019
This years’ Austrian Youth Climate Conference took place from November 8-10 in Vienna. Stefan Giljum was invited to give a half-day workshop on the issues of global resource flows and footprints. Students from different academic backgrounds discussed current trends of natural resource use and options to reduce the footprint of consumption.
This 2nd conference in Austria featured a total of 55 workshops covering a wide range of topics related to the issue of climate change. The conferences are organised under the umbrella of YOUNGO, the official youth representation at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). They aim to promote the commitment of youth to climate protection and to provide input into international conferences.
