WU Vienna welcomed Roberta Metsola, president of the European Parliament, for a discussion in WU Professor Jonas Puck’s “Global Business” course.

The discussion with BSc students focused on the economic and social impacts of European integration – from strengthening the single market to competition and innovation policy and the importance of European unity in challenging geopolitical times. The students took advantage of this opportunity to engage in a critical in-depth exchange and asked questions about current economic policy developments, global value chains, and Europe’s role in international competition.
