In this public event, we wish to explore and debate how antisemitism manifests itself in everyday life in contemporary Austria, through voiced attitudes and expressed behavior at the workplace.

In this public event, we wish to explore and debate how antisemitism manifests itself in everyday life in contemporary Austria, through voiced attitudes and expressed behavior at the workplace. We discuss its interaction with institutional culture and the wider environment - the extent, to which it is a continuation of the virile antisemitism of the not-too-distant past, or a current phenomenon feeding on global events, how it affects its potential victims and perpetrators and what should be done about it.

Our guest of honor at this public event is the historian and celebrated author Dr. Doron Rabinovici. At the roundtable discussion, he will be joined by Profs. Wolfgang Mayrhofer, Yochanan Altman and Johannes Koll, introduced by Prof. Müller-Camen. The event will take place on 18th June 2019 at 18.30 in Room EA.6.026 (Executive Academy Building, Room 6.026). A buffet will be served at the conclusion of the event.

Attendance is free. You are hereby cordially invited. R.S.V.P. by e-mail to Petra.Peck@wu.ac.at.
