What is ENGAGE.EU?

ENGAGE.EU is a European University Alliance that unites ten leading universities in business, economics, and the social sciences, namely:

Online Exchange Initiative (OEI)

With the ENGAGE.EU Online Exchange Initiative, you can take online courses at partner universities while staying in Vienna. You study in an international virtual classroom and earn ECTS credits while you’re at it.

ENGAGE.EU Summer and Winter Schools are short-term intensive programs combining academic instruction, practical workshops, company visits, and a rich social program.

Joint Programme in Digital Transformation

The ENGAGE.EU Joint Programme in Digital Transformation is an add‑on, Master’s‑level honors program that prepares students for a rapidly evolving digital world. It equips participants with cutting‑edge skills to understand data, navigate digital disruption, and create societal impact. Students learn from academic experts and industry partners, take part in virtual block courses offered across ENGAGE.EU universities, and conclude the program with an in‑person summer seminar.

Expeditions

The ENGAGE.EU Expedition is a week-long, intensive, international, and multidisciplinary co‑design program where students collaborate with experts and mentors to develop solutions to real‑life societal challenges. It is built on the principles of inno-preneurship and emphasizes creating value for society through hands‑on, mission‑oriented teamwork.

Global Sustainability Management (GSM)

One year – 60 ECTS – 10 partner universities: GSM is a highly immersive joint certificate program co‑developed and co‑taught by Europe’s leading institutions in business, economics, and social sciences. Activities include bootcamps, simulations, team‑building workshops, immersive learning, and project labs.
