Talenta

WU Campus

Together with the City of Vienna, WU annually honors the best bachelor's and master's theses with the "Talenta" award.

The evaluation criteria for the award are:

  • excellence

  • social relevance

  • accessibility

  • diversity

The winners will receive a certificate and prize money provided by the City of Vienna. A jury selects the best bachelor's and master's theses from the nominations received. It consists of:

  • three representatives of the Convention

  • one representative of the junior faculty

  • the Vice-Rector for Academic Programs and Student Affairs (chair)

How Can I Submit My Bachelor's or Master's Thesis?

As a student, you cannot submit your bachelor's or master's thesis yourself. Instead, each department or program director selects the work to be submitted for the Talenta Award in an internal pre-selection process. If you would like to submit your thesis, please contact your supervisor so that your thesis can be considered in the internal pre-selection process.
