As a holder of an academic management position, you have special duties and responsibilities. To support you in your role and help you master the challenges you are facing in your day-to-day work as a supervisor, WU offers you the following services:

WU in-house training

In addition to our regular, open seminars and workshops for academic staff members – which you are of course cordially invited to attend – we offer workshops on special topics such as supervising employees, managing academic units, and other issues related to your role and responsibilities as a senior faculty member.

Unit-specific personnel development advisory services

In addition to our services for individuals with leadership responsibilities, we also support the heads of organizational units at WU with tailor-made personnel development services targeted at entire units or teams. Upon request, we are available to work with you to determine an approach that suits the specific needs of your unit, ranging from team development events and soft skills training workshops to change management services, English courses, and many other types of services. Our services for you include advice on technical aspects (appropriate formats and instruments, process design, choice of external trainers and/or advisors, etc.) as well as financial support.
