Three times a semester there is a "Welcome@WU" to welcome new employees. After a welcome note and presentation about the WU by the Vice-Rector for Human Resources, Univ.Prof. Dr. Michael Lang, there is a guided tour across the Campus, followed by a get-together to give you the opportunity to get to know other new colleagues from different parts of the organisation.
All new WU employees get a personal invitation to the next Welcome@WU following their start at WU via e-mail.
Please note that the Welcome@WU is currently held in German only.
Performance Review (MAG)
A carefully planned and conducted annual performance review has proven to be one of the most effective and efficient instruments of communication between supervisors and their employees. The performance review plays a crucial role in organizational communication. It provides the opportunity for a profound, structured exchange between supervisors and their team members.
