Bachelor and Master Student Guides

Scope of Activities of Student Guides

Student Guides support students throughout their studies and are not tied to specific modules or individual courses.

The responsibilities of Bachelor Student Guides include, among others:

• Providing support to the programme management

• Offering guidance and orientation with regard to the range of study programmes and service facilities at WU

• Contributing to networking among and with students

• Providing subject‑related support to students where possible

The responsibilities of Master Student Guides include, among others:

• Providing orientation at WU and within the city of Vienna

• Highlighting available learning support services

• Acting as contact persons for questions and concerns, and facilitating connections with relevant service units

• Promoting networking among students

• Fulfilling an interface function between students and assistants to the academic directors and/or academic directors themselves

• Encouraging the formation of study groups

• Providing subject‑related support to students where possible
