In the Lan­guage Labs, stu­dents can make video and au­dio re­cord­ings, do in­di­vidu­als listen­ing com­pre­hen­sion ex­er­cises, and con­duct sim­u­lated tele­phone con­ver­sa­tions, which are auto­mat­ic­ally re­cor­ded. The room's com­puters are linked in a net­work, and the teach­ing en­vir­on­ment al­lows for a wide vari­ety of learn­ing activ­it­ies. For example, teach­ers can use a web­cam to re­cord stu­dent dia­logs, role-­play­ing ex­er­cises, or short present­a­tions; the re­cord­ings can then be saved as a file for later use (feed­back, evalu­ation). Vari­ous in­ter­net-­based activ­it­ies can also be in­teg­rated into the class­work.
In ad­di­tion to the Lan­guage Labs, the Raif­feisen Lan­guage Re­source Center, located on level +2 of the LC, has a sem­inar room and 5 Tan­dem Learn­ing Rooms. Tan­dem Learn­ing Rooms can be booked by stu­dents.

This room is equipped like other sem­inar rooms, ex­cept that teach­ers can re­quest the use of op­tional cus­tom video re­cord­ing equip­ment. This makes this room par­tic­u­larly in­ter­est­ing for MSc-­level courses fo­cus­ing on present­a­tion skills and ne­go­ti­ations, as well as for con­ver­sa­tion groups.

PC labs can be booked for courses that re­quire stu­dents to use com­puter work­sta­tions. Se­lec­ted PC labs are open for stu­dent use at sced­uled times. This al­lows stu­dents to prac­tice us­ing the ad­di­tional soft­ware taught in their courses.
The PC labs are located in the fol­low­ing build­ings:

Pro­ject rooms are a new room cat­egory for WU. These are glass-­fron­ted rooms located near sem­inar rooms and self-study areas. They can be booked both by teach­ers (for small-s­cale classes or as a break­out room) and by stu­dents for group study activ­it­ies.

Der Teacher Train­ing Raum im D2, EG ist primär wie ein Sem­inar­raum aus­gest­at­tet, der um weit­ere Ele­mente wie z.B. Pin­n­wand und Deck­en­kam­eras ergänzt wurde. Ver­schieden­ste Lehr- und Lernszenarien lassen sich darin real­is­ieren.
Das Teacher Train­ing Lab ist der dazugehörige Beo­bach­tung­s­raum.

The work­sta­tion rooms are equipped to meet the de­mands of today's IT edu­ca­tion. The soft­ware ne­ces­sary for pro­gram­ming activ­it­ies is in­stalled on all com­puters, and work­sta­tions are equipped with dual mon­it­ors. The De­part­ment of In­form­a­tion Sys­tems & Op­er­a­tions will be re­spons­ible for the hard­ware and soft­ware for these rooms.
There are 4 work­sta­tions rooms in D2:
