Research Seminar Series with Yesim Orhun

16/05/2022

Yesterday, Yesim Orhun from the University of Michigan presented one of her latest projects in the Research Seminar Series. Her project “Motivated Optimism and Workplace Risk” deals with the return to everyday life after the pandemic. Specifically, how optimism changes when returning from the home office to the riskier office routine. For example, among workers currently staying at home, individuals who are temporally closer to returning to their workplace are relatively more optimistic about the increase in infection risk associated with going back. We were delighted to welcome her as our guest, and we hope she will enjoy the rest of her time in Vienna.
