10 was the magic number during MAXFIVE CEO Michael Tippl’s presentation at the our guest lecture series “Praxisdialog”. 10 million listeners in 10,000 stores across 10 countries tune in daily to MAXFIVE’s custom-made in-store radio – not only in the stores of its parent company, REWE, but also at external retail clients. Customers in international markets are mostly unaware that the music and content come from Vienna.

It was incredibly impressive for our students to learn, through very concrete examples, how AI is transforming this market and what strategies MAXFIVE employs to stay ahead of the competition.

Thank you very much for the great insight not only into the world of in-store radio, but also into MAXFIVE’s other activities, such as retail media, digital signage, events, scent marketing, and tastings. Now we know why the name MAXFIVE stands for all five senses.
