This week in the “Retailing & Sales” course in the Master Marketing programme at WU, Karin Viechtbaur and Markus Chaloupka, Regional directors at Hofer, gave us an insight into the retail brand’s business model: An efficient shopping experience, a well-balanced product portfolio, a focus on freshness and an optimised price-performance ratio. Sounds easy? Realising this in everyday life in all of the stores requires a consistent commitment to these success factors.
