Teacher Exchange: Michael Posch und Gerhard Geissler in Sarajevo

As part of the Staff Mobility for Teaching program, Michael Posch and Gerhard Geissler spent a week teaching at the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo in mid-May 2026. They were warmly welcomed and professionally supported by their colleagues there.

In the workshop "Presenting Effectively in Times of Digitalization", they worked primarily with students in the Bachelor’s program in Marketing on contemporary presentation and communication methods. The focus was on interactive teaching and learning formats as well as the use of innovative digital tools to promote rhetorical and social skills.
All participants found the workshop to be particularly intensive and enriching. The students showed great interest, high motivation, and a lot of openness toward the practice-oriented methods and exercises.

In addition to the courses, the visit also provided an opportunity for international exchange and for initiating new collaborations. The openness and hospitality of the faculty and students made the stay in Sarajevo a valuable experience.
