WU Professor Stefan Perner, Head of the Department of Private Law, and Angela Julcher, Court Counselor at the Supreme Administrative Court, were formally appointed to the highest court of the Republic by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.

With the appointment of Prof. Stefan Perner, a total of five WU professors are now represented at the Constitutional Court, alongside VfGH President Christoph Grabenwarter, Vice President Verena Madner, Prof. Michael Holoubek, and Prof. Georg Lienbacher. In addition, Hon. Prof. Sieglinde Gahleitner is also a member of the VfGH, meaning that there are currently six constitutional judges working at WU.
