To make use of the support services offered by the BeAble program, you must be accepted into the program.

Procedure

The registration procedure for the BeAble program is as follows:

  1. Send an email to the BeAble team.
If you have a medically or psychologically verified disability relevant to your studies, please contact us by e-mail.

  2. Make an appointment for a consultation
We will then schedule an appointment (in person on campus or online via MS Teams).

  3. Consultation
In this initial meeting, we will assess your situation holistically and mutually clarify possible questions.

  4. Medical/clinical psychological certificate
Following the consultation, you send us an e-mail with a medical/clinical psychological certificate (no older than six months; in German or English), which should ideally contain the following information:
    - Certification of existence of a study-related impairment,
    - Recommendation and scope of accommodations or support services to be provided, as well as
    - the expected duration of the study-related impairment.

The more detailed assessment of the specialist/clinical psychological, the better we can appropriately adapt the recommendations issued by the BeAble program.
Note: A diagnosis should not be included in it.

  5. Examination of the medical/clinical psychological evidence and issuance of the recommendation
After successful approval of your medical/clinical psychological certificate, the BeAble program will then issue a respective recommendation. Once you are accepted into the BeAble program, you will receive the recommendation by e-mail.
