"Research meets Practice" - Workshop in Hong Kong

The Institute of Information Management and Control and the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong have jointly organized a workshop for researchers and practitioners. The one-day event, themed Knowledge Management across Borders: A Chinese/Austrian Perspective, featured recent research findings about global knowledge management in organisations and practices of Austrian/European subsidiaries in Hong Kong and mainland China. The workshop included Knowledge Management enablers, processes and performance in a global and cross-cultural context. An open discussion with practitioners and researchers allowed the exploration of current problems and strategies of Austrian/European subsidiaries in Hong Kong and China.
