Minimum Academic Performance

If you enroll in a bachelor’s program in or after the 2022/23 winter semester or if you resume your bachelor’s program after a break (in or after the 2022/23 winter semester), you must complete a minimum of 16 ECTS by the end of your fourth semester.

What Does This Mean?

Within the first 4 semesters, bachelor’s students have to complete at least 16 ECTS credits. All examination results within the scope of the respective program will be taken into account. This also includes extracurricular courses (e.g. enrichment courses). Transferred credits only count if the exam was taken during your first four semesters, but not before (Transferred credits of previous studies or your secondary school are therefore not relevant).

This Regulation Is Relevant For ...

  • new students admitted for the 2022/23 winter semester or a later semester  (“Business, Economics and Social Sciences”, “Business Law”, “ Business and Economics”  individual bachelor’s programs)

  • students resuming their bachelor’s program (or a follow-up bachelor’s program) after a break, as of the 2022/23 winter semester
