Position at IIB, other positions and academic career

Nico is working as a Teaching and Research Associate at the Institute for International Business since August 2021. Before joining the institute, he earned a master's degree in Management from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim (Germany). During his bachelor studies, Nico completed an exchange semester at National Taiwan University in Taipei.

Before starting in his recent position, Nico gained practical experience in project management in a Berlin-based start-up and strategy consulting. Additionally, he worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant for WU's Institute for Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

Research interest

Nico's research interest focuses on rationality and heuristics in decision-making before and during a firm's internationalization endeavors.
