Position at IIB, other positions and academic career

Evelyn has been working as Teaching and Research Associate at the Institute for International Business since October 2020. She earned her PhD from WU Vienna in September 2022. Evelyn’s teaching includes classes in international business strategy, international management consulting, and political environments in international business. Evelyn holds a Master’s degree in International Management from London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from WU Vienna. She studied abroad at York University and University of Toronto in Canada and at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Before her academic career, Evelyn was working in the strategy consulting industry for five years.

Research interest

Evelyn’s research interests focus on international strategy, particularly MNEs´ responses to foreign political environments, and on strategy consulting. In her dissertation, Evelyn investigates the various forms of corporate political environments and activities.
