Profile

Stefanie Mayr, BSc (WU), is a research associate and teaching assistant at the Institute for Gender and Diversity in Organizations at WU Vienna since 2024. Her research focuses on equal opportunities, diversity in the labour market and feminism. She is part of the research team in the Interreg Europe project "WOMEX – The role of women in the competitiveness of exporting SMEs" and co-editor of the Institute's Working Paper Series.

She contributes to the Working Paper Series and the Handbook on Diversity Research and is co-organizer of the WU Gender and Diversity Conference 2025, where she is also a presenter.

In addition, she regularly cooperates with IntAkt – International Action Group of Visual Artists, a feminist network of women artists based in Vienna, in the context of joint projects and exhibitions.

She is currently completing a master's degree in social economy at the University of applied sciences Campus Wien. Previously, she completed her bachelor's degree in economics and social sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a focus on diversity management and entrepreneurship & innovation management.
