Central to our research is the question how diversity relations come into effect on an organizational level. Analysing organizational practices, social inequalities as well as structural power relations are, accordingly, key issues for our research agenda. By researching diversity and organizational measures related to it, we want to identify possibilities for making organizations more just and democratic.
Seeing our research as part of critical stances towards gender, diversity and organizations, we take cross-, trans- and inter-disciplinary approaches as starting points, focus on intersectional and relational approaches and commit ourselves to anti-essentialist and anti-categorical approaches towards difference.
