Dr. Rudolf Dömötör

Dr. Rudolf Dömötör is Director of the Entrepreneurship Center Network (ECN) at the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (www.ecn.ac.at). ECN is a joint initiative of six Viennese universities. It promotes cross-disciplinary entrepreneurship among students and faculty by developing methods that serve the purpose of raising awareness for entrepreneurship and transferring knowledge from universities to markets. ECN’s mission is to sustainably increase the number of startups out of universities. Member universities are: Akademie der bildenden Künste, BOKU, Meduni, TU, Vetmed Uni and WU. For his academic career he was based in Sydney (Australia), Washington, D.C. (USA) and Vienna.

Before re-joining the E&I team in August 2013, he was a self-employed startup- and innovation consultant.
