Workshop-type courses (AG) are based on group work. Student attandance ist mandatory. In contrast to all other examination types, AGs are not graded on a scale from 1 to 5, but on a pass/fail basis. So far, workshop-type courses have only been offered as enrichment courses at WU (e.g. social skills workshops) but as of October 2018, it will be possible to incorporate them into regular curricula. The central grading criterion is active course participation.

Please note: Workshop-type courses are generally not considered when calculating subject grades. This means that a subject grade is usually only made up of all relevant courses that have been graded on the numerical scale from 1 to 5. If a subject consists mainly of workshop-type courses (>50% of the relevant ECTS credits or more than half of all subject courses), the whole subject will be graded on a pass/fail basis.
