The registration period for the summer term 2024 begins on February 08th 2024.

Please be aware that your LPIS registration only becomes valid if the deposit is paid within 2 days after the registration! In case you do not pay the deposit in time, you will be automatically de-registered from the course.

IMPORTANT: Please reference your first and last names, matriculation number, lecture number(s) + the semester when making the transfer, for example: Max Mustermann, 0123456, 4283/4253, SS 2023

Please note: deposits from previous semesters cannot be transferred to the following semester! In case you do not pay the deposit in time, you will be automatically de-registered from the course.

The deposit is returned if you:

• attend and complete the workshop properly

• or cancel at the latest 3 weeks before the seminar begins (LPIS or e-mail to: soziale.kompetenz@wu.ac.at)

• or, in the case of illness, submit a doctor’s note before/inmediately after the missed lesson.

If one of these criteria is met, then the following form must be filled out for the deposits to be returned and sent to WIPÄD Institut - Soziale Kompetenz (pdf-scan to soziale.kompetenz@wu.ac.at; or via post to: Soziale Kompetenz - Wipäd Institut, WU Wien, Welthandelsplatz 1, Gebäude D2, Eingang B, 1.Stock, 1020 Wien) or handed in personally during the openig hours of our Front Office.

The payment of the deposits takes place by bank transfer without exception. Deposits which were paid in for summer term 2023 shall only be returned until 30th April 2024! The return transfer shall take place approx. four weeks after the request is received. Deposits from previous semesters are no longer returned!

In general, there is a complete obligation of attendance. It is vital that you arrive in time on the first day of the course, places which remain free may be given to waiting persons at the beginning of the lecture!

There are various tasks to fulfil within the workshops (preparing presentations, talks, etc.). A written task and/or reflection must also be prepared for each workshop. You will receive the instructions for this in your workshop.

If there are tasks to complete in advance or documents to bring along for the workshop, you will receive an email from the lecturer before the workshop begins. For this reason, please check your webmail address regularly!
