The Institute for Business Education at WU Wien is part of a network. Research and teaching could not function without networking and the associated exchange.

• In Austria, we are well connected with the 3 other Business Education locations in Graz, Innsbruck and Linz - and not only through our Business Education Conventions.

• Within the scope of our partner school initiative, we are well connected with Austrian BMHS, so far mainly in the Eastern provinces of Austria.

• In the field of vocational training research in Austria we are also associated with the Forum of Research on Vocational Education and Training (FORVET) and the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Forschung und Entwicklung im Bildungswesen (ÖFEB) [Austrian Association of Research and Development in Education].

• Beyond Austria's borders, the Institute for Business Education at WU Wien is connected with other institutions in the field of research and practice: vocational preparation, vocational training, and continuing vocational education, e. g. via the DGfE: Section 7 - Division for Vocational Education - and there not only during the annual conference.

• We are associated with the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Ökonomische Bildung [German Society for Economic Education (degöb)] to promote economic education and are also happy to take part in its annual conference.

• At EU level, members of the Institute for Business Education at WU Wien are repeatedly involved in international educational cooperation projects, currently e. g. Erasmus+ project FLY and Erasmus+ project FLUENT.

• In the European educational research context, we are in contact with the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) and regularly participate in EARLI conferences.

• When it comes to business education, we have an excellent global network within the International Society for Business Education (SIEC-ISBE) and its annual international conference.
