The teaching concept of E&I

We are pleased that you are interested in the E&I specialization (E&I SBWL). You have come to the right place if:

  • innovation inspires you and you want to play a leading role in shaping the future,

  • you are looking for a specialization that combines theory and practice,

  • and you are ready to make a serious commitment to learning about E&I.

Beginning in the winter semester 2019/20, the E&I specialization (E&I SBWL) will be an English-language program. For students, this means that most of the courses will be taught in English.

Our goal is to provide our students with first-class entrepreneurship and innovation management skills, which we achieve with our unique teaching concept based on three pillars: knowledge, application, and networking.

SBWL Teaching Concept

Our teaching concept has proven successful over many years and opens a wide range of career paths for our alumni. In addition to starting a business, the E&I specialization (E&I SBWL) prepares its students to work in a start-up environment (e.g. in a venture capital company), as a product and innovation manager in an established company, or as a strategy consultant.
