Insights: The WU Gender and Diversity Conference 2022

The purpose of the WU Gender and Diversity conference series is to promote research on diversity and inclusion and foster scientific exchange between researchers, practitioners, scientists, students, and organizations across the EDI field and its related disciplines.

Last year, the WU Gender and Diversity conference on the topic “Diversity, Diversity Management and Intersectionality in a Global Context - Dynamics and Realignments” was held (online). The programme comprised 30 presentations. More than 50 outstanding scholars from the global north and the global south presented and shared their theoretical and empirical research with the audience.

In this call for papers, we invite participants to submit proposals that critically discuss diversity and inclusion in organizations, and the associated issues and opportunities in relation to the socio-political context in which their researched organizations and/or workers are situated.

The 2023 conference will be held in our campus, although we will offer some hybrid sessions. We are looking forward to meeting you on our second Gender and Diversity conference to be held at WU Vienna between 23 and 24 March, 2023.

Select the most appropriate track for your proposal from the list below and send your submission no later than 15 January 2023 (ATTENTION: NEW DEADLINE IS ON JANUARY 30, 2023).
