Knowing Self, and Oneness in a VUCA World

This presentation shifts the orientation of knowledge management from a focus on understanding the external world to knowing oneself. Our current education which is focused on left brain consciousness alienates us from ourselves, others, and the environment to the detriment of our health, social well-being, and the planet. It is proposed that Asian contemplative practices offer pathways to expand our awareness and enhance our care for ourselves, society, and the world. While these traditions may seem esoteric to many educated in the West, simple practical ideas are presented on how to begin to engage oneness to expand one’s self-knowledge.
