Could responsible knowledge management (rKM) be a possible answer not only to address the consequences of the pandemic but also other present and upcoming societal challenges.

The underlying idea:

  • rKM goes beyond organizational/national/etc. boundaries and acknowledges that only a collaborative and inclusive approach involving different and diverse partners of equal standing is capable of addressing present and future challenges.

  • rKM emphasizes knowledge creation, sharing, and retention for the greater good; the latter also forms the starting point of this approach to KM and not as typically found in the individual organization and its particular challenges.
