Why study Socioeconomics?

We live in times of great change in the economy and many other areas of our lives: globalization, climate change, digitalization are a few buzzwords. Companies have to hold their own in this uncertain environment. Success here depends largely on the correct assessment of the entrepreneurial environment. Socioeconomics is an interdisciplinary field of research that combines approaches from the social sciences and economics. Socioeconomic orientation knowledge allows to describe, understand and explain burning economic and social issues from different perspectives (theories, methods).
