Biographical Sketch

Angela Samuel is a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institute for Public Management & Governance since March 2021. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna. Prior to joining the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Angela gained professional experience in the public as well as the private sector. Her experiences include consultancy and research positions for international organizations (United Nations), multinational corporations (Marsh & McLennan), and policy think tanks (Association for Inclusive Peace).

Research Interests

Angela´s research interest lies at the intersection between economics and politics. Her research focuses on collaborative governance between different stakeholders. Using mixed-method, she examines the role of collaborations to tackle societal challenges such as urbanization and provide sustainable solutions to policymakers.
