Raiffeisenlandesbank NÖ-Wien

Together for Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Development

As part of the WU Business Case Challenge 2025, we are particularly committed to working with the next generation of decision-makers toward an inclusive and sustainable future. Because: Financial accessibility is more than just a bank account – it is the key to social participation, economic independence, and personal development.

In addition to being a modern regional and universal bank, we at RLB NÖ-Wien serve as the central institution for the 42 Raiffeisen banks in Lower Austria. While we focus on Austria’s capital as “Raiffeisen Wien. My City Bank,” the locally operating independent Raiffeisen banks are market leaders in Lower Austria. With a broad offering for private individuals, businesses, and the public sector, we combine personalized advice with digital services – always placing the needs of our customers at the center.

Rated with an ISS ESG PRIME rating, we actively support companies in their sustainable transformation – with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. In the private customer segment, we rely on innovative solutions: through our cooperation with Bitpanda, for example, we are pioneers in the development of digital investment solutions within the European Union. With “Raiffeisen JUNIOR,” we are the first traditional financial institution in Austria to offer a banking app for children and teenagers, thereby contributing to financial education.

We also remain focused on our social mission: At RLB NÖ-Wien, we actively promote financial literacy – especially for young people, women, individuals with a migration background, and disadvantaged groups. Financial competence builds confidence, protects against risks, and opens doors to new opportunities.

In addition, we pursue ambitious ESG goals to consistently reduce our ecological footprint and promote diversity in all dimensions. We embody a values-based corporate culture rooted in transparency, responsibility, and sustainability.

We are excited to develop new future perspectives together with the participants of the WU Business Case Challenge and actively shape the transformation toward a more equitable and sustainable society.
