10.-12.03.2026 Konferenz: "Court of Justice of the European Union: Recent VAT Case Law"

The conference will focus on the recent case law of the CJEU in the area of VAT. The most relevant judgments rendered in 2026 will be analyzed by panels consisting of leading academics and judges as well as government and business representatives. In a special spotlight session on the first day, judges from the General Court will reflect on their experiences within the new preliminary ruling chambers.

The conference will start with a welcome reception and book presentation on the evening of January 20, 2027 at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law, WU. The working sessions will be held all day on January 21 and 22, 2027 in Ceremonial Hall 1, LC Building on the WU campus.
