Der Inhalt dieser Seite ist aktuell nur auf Englisch verfügbar.

The WU Global Tax Policy Center (WU GTPC) at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business has launched the Tax and Good Governance Project 2015-2018. Together with WU GTPC, the African Tax Institute (ATI) at the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, and in cooperation with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the World Bank, the project played a key role in the fight against tax crimes and illicit activities in Africa.

The project identified links between corruption, money laundering and tax crimes and promoted the concepts of good tax governance and the importance of a corrupt-free and transparent tax system for economic development and how law enforcement agencies and tax authorities can cooperate to counter corruption and bribery. The project focused on Sub-Saharan countries.

The project is continued under the new name of Tax Transparency and Corruption.
