Mihaela joined the Institute of International Business as a Teaching and Research Associate in October 2021 and is part of the Institute for Responsibility and Sustainability in Global Business since April 2023. She earned a master’s degree in Business and Law in International Markets from Anglo-American University (AAU), Prague, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Marketing and Communications from the same university. When starting her master’s studies, she was accepted into an MA Fellowship program, during which she became involved in research and developed an interest in pursuing an academic career. Before joining the institute, Mihaela worked as a Program and Research Coordinator at AAU, where she was responsible for research activities, conference organization, and contributing to academic papers.

Mihaela’s research interests include stakeholder engagement and collaboration for sustainable development solutions, stakeholder value creation, and corporate social responsibility, with a specific focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
