Mihaela joined the Institute of International Business as a Teaching and Research Associate in October 2021 and is part of the Institute for Responsibility and Sustainability in Global Business since April 2023. She earned a master’s degree in Business and Law in International Markets from Anglo-American University (AAU), Prague, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Marketing and Communications from the same university. When starting her master’s studies, she was accepted into an MA Fellowship program, during which she became involved in research, and reached her first academic publication in early 2019. Before joining the institute, Mihaela worked as a Program Coordinator, as well as Research Coordinator at AAU.

Research

Mihaela’s research interests include stakeholder value creation, corporate social responsibility, and the effect of different factors on the initiatives chosen by companies. She is also interested in the impact of the pandemic on this field, with a specific focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
