2025 WU Transfer Pricing Symposium

2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the WU Transfer Pricing Center at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law.

Celebrating this milestone provides an ideal opportunity to continue to reflect on the growing role of courts in influencing transfer pricing practice. While judicial decisions often focus on the legal dimensions of transfer pricing disputes, considering the application of the arm’s length principle is equally essential. This intersection of legal reasoning and analysis of this principle continues to influence the development of global transfer pricing frameworks.

Building on the success of last year's inaugural symposium focused on transfer pricing case law, this year’s event further explores emerging jurisprudence as transfer pricing cases continue to be litigated in a growing number of jurisdictions, emphasizing the importance of legal interpretation as well as technical transfer pricing analyses.

Each session will focus on a specific theme, with selected cases illustrating key legal issues, followed by insightful discussions among panellists and participants. With 23 cases from all over the world, this event will bring together experts from academia, advisory firms, the business sector, government bodies, and international organizations to share their perspectives and insights on these pivotal cases.
