Biographical Sketch

Katharina Dinhof is a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institute for Public Management and Governance at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. She joined the team in January 2020. She completed her Psychology studies (Bachelors and Masters) at the Alps-Adria University in Klagenfurt (Austria), where she also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Social Psychology, and the University of West Florida (USA). Prior to her current position at the Institute, she also gained experience in Marketing Research and Consumer Behavior at the WU Department of Marketing.

Research Interests

Katharina Dinhof’s research interests include public management and governance from a psychological and behavioral perspective. She likes to consider social biases, such as stereotypes and prejudice, in the decision-making and the behavior of individuals and asks how this contributes to inequalities.
