The Institute for Political Economy took part in the WU Specialisations Fair

05/06/2025

WU offers a diverse range of specialisations, one of which is Politics & Money, offered by the Institute for Political Economy.

On May 26 and 27, 2025, the Institute for International Political Economy participated in the university’s Specializations Fair, an event designed to help students navigate the many academic pathways available within their studies. Held in the LC-Forum, the fair followed an open, interactive format that invited students to explore various specializations in an informal environment. Each specialization was represented at individual stands, where faculty and current students shared insights, answered questions, and provided materials to help prospective students make informed decisions about their future academic focus.

The Institute’s stand showcased the specialization “Politics and Money,” part of the WUPOL major, and was staffed by Jonas Bunte. This gave visitors the chance to hear firsthand experiences, discuss course content, and learn about the career opportunities associated with this field. Posters, brochures, and digital presentations provided additional context for the conversations, helping students gain a comprehensive view of the specialization’s scope and relevance.

For WUPOL students, and particularly those considering the “Politics and Money” track, the fair was a great opportunity. It offered not only practical information but also a chance to connect with the people behind the program. Events like this reflect the Institute’s commitment to supporting students in shaping their academic journeys and future careers with confidence.
