Katrina Nelson joined IOD in October 2022 as a teaching and research associate working on TMT agility and international transformation.

Katrina Nelson completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Fine-Arts, and Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University in the United States. While at IWU, she assisted with research and teaching in the Psychology and Leadership programs.

During her Master's degree in Organizational Leadership at Point Loma Nazarene University, she focused on succession planning and conducted D&I training for local businesses, drawing from literature on cultural intelligence and team diversity.

In addition, Katrina served as a Gallup® Strengths Facilitator and Trainer for the undergraduate business administration and nursing programs, focusing on leadership strengths, communication, and conflict management.

Prior to returning to academic research, Katrina worked for several years in both the non-profit and corporate sectors in leadership development, training, and organizational transformation. Most recently, she served as the Austrian-wide coordinator for an international transformation and digitalization project in the auto-industry that spanned 40 countries worldwide.
